Children Toy Safety
As a responsible toy designer & manufacturer, we at Pungrow prioritize safety and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our toys.. We believe that toy safety is a shared responsibility between us and parents, caregivers, and users of our toys.
All Pungrow toys comply with the regulations of ASTM, CPC, EN71, KCC, and other safety standards. We understand the importance of adhering to these regulations and standards to ensure the safety of children who play with our toys.
We regularly conduct safety tests on our toys to ensure that they meet these safety standards. Additionally, we use only high-quality materials that are safe for children to handle.
By following the safety guidelines, we minimize the risks associated with toy use and ensure that our toys provide safe and enjoyable playtime for children.
- Always design age-appropriate toys that match the child's abilities, skills, and interests. Make sure the toy is suitable for the child's age and developmental stage.
- Label instructions, warnings, and safety recommendations in clear position to help parents make informed decisions when selecting and using our toys.
- Conduct product recalls or safety alerts immediately if any element of our toy is found.
- Avoid small parts, sharp edges, or loose strings that can pose a choking or strangulation hazard with our toys.
- Ensure that every toy is made of non-toxic materials and does not contain harmful chemicals or substances that can cause skin irritation or allergic reactions.
- Well-made and durable in the design & construction, and inspect them regularly for signs of wear and tear.
We take pride in providing toys that avoid the common toy dangers.
- Sharp edges: We avoid materials that can easily break and expose sharp edges. We also ensure that our toys are constructed with care to avoid any sharp edges.
- Small parts: We ensure that our toys do not have small, removable parts that can be swallowed or become lodged in a child’s windpipe, ears, or nostrils. We do not use squeakers in our toys to prevent them from being removed and possibly swallowed.
- Loud noises: We ensure that our noise-making toys do not exceed safe noise levels that can damage hearing.
- Sharp points: We avoid toys that can break and expose dangerous prongs and knife-sharp points. We do not use pins and staples or accessories that can easily puncture the skin of a child. We ensure that even our tubetoys do not have wires that can cut or stab.
- Propelled objects: We avoid toys that can be turned into weapons and cause injury, particularly to the eyes. We do not permit children to play with adult lawn darts or other hobby or sporting equipment with sharp points.
- Age-appropriate toys: We ensure that our toys are appropriate for the age of the child to prevent any potential danger.
